In the heart of the Rub’ al Khali—the Empty Quarter— home to some of the tallest dunes on Earth, there’s a story whispered among desert travelers. A formation known among Bedouin guides as the Seven Sisters. These dunes rise in a natural sequence, each shaped by shifting winds, each holding its own character. But it is the seventh dune that stands apart.
Unlike the others, the seventh dune catches the late-afternoon sun in a way that turns its crest into molten gold.
